Another Dirty Story
From earlier posts, you may recall the garage is high enough off the ground that we have had to bring in quite a bit of dirt to fill up to the needed level, as the lot is sloped. That also requires the driveway, and concrete pad outside the garage to be filled in as well. This will require a retaining wall to hold the dirt back. Several design restrictions do not apply if the retaining wall is 4 ft or shorter; therefore, we're breaking our 8 ft high wedge of dirt into two terraces.

The rendering is good. It's a bit difficult to orient, though, because the front elevation of the house has to be imagined. It helps to see the drawing again after having seen the house in person.
We got to see the place last Sunday. It's looking really good, and seems to be coming along very quickly, though I know it can't come too soon in light of your present life in the "cracker box."
